Greetings from Jarabacoa!

We are in the DR! We arrived at Students International after a long flight from San Diego, an even longer layover in Miami that consisted of us trying to catch a few Z's, playing a few card games, and a gate change that required us to navigate from one end of the terminal to the other.

First impressions:

Accommodations: Wonderful! our bunk-houses are cozy and will make for a nice place to return and rest in each night. Also, hot showers are great!

Weather: Warm and humid. But, the evenings cool down which will make a good nights rest much easier.

Dinner: Yummy! Tonight we enjoyed a wonderful meal of spaghetti, bread and salad!

The Staff: Absolutely great! They have all been very friendly and loving.

So far our spirits are high and we are all loving getting to know each other more! As we write this post the students are all together, singing worship songs, and enjoying God's beautiful creation. The students will be posting from this point forward.
